Touring Veterinary Officer Recruitment 2026

Eligibility

• Educational Qualification: B.V.Sc. or B.V.Sc. & A.H. from a Veterinary Council of India‑recognized university with permanent registration from the Bihar Veterinary Council.
• Age: Minimum 21 years as on 01.08.2026. Maximum age limits: 37 years for Unreserved men, 42 years for SC/ST candidates. Further relaxations may apply.

Pay Matrix

• Level‑9: ₹53,100 – ₹1,67,800

Selection Process

1. Computer Based Test (CBT): 100 marks (scaled to 75 marks). +1 mark for each correct answer, –0.25 mark for each wrong answer.
2. Experience Component: Up to 25 marks for prior contractual work experience as a veterinary doctor.
3. Final Merit Score: Combined score out of 100.
