Position: Agriculture Development Officer (ADO) – Group‑A (Job Trainee)

Eligibility

• Age: 18 to 45 years (as on 01 January 2026)
• Educational qualifications
  • B.Sc. (Agriculture) from a four‑year degree programme recognized by State/Central Government/ICAR
  • M.Sc. (Agriculture) – 2nd Class from a recognized institution
  • M.Sc. (Agriculture) – First Class or above
• Other requirements
  • Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh
  • Suitability for appointment under prevailing conditions in the state

Selection Process

1. Written Examination – Objective type screening test / descriptive subject aptitude test (SAT)
2. Personality Test

Application Procedure

1. Visit the official HPPSC website.
2. Complete One‑Time Registration (OTR) if not already registered.
3. Log in to the OTR portal and select the Agriculture Development Officer advertisement.
4. Fill in the online application form.
5. Upload required documents: photograph, signature, matriculation certificate, degree certificates and marksheets, experience certificate (if applicable), category certificate (if applicable), Bonafide Himachali Certificate (for reserved categories).
6. Pay the application fee and submit the application before the last date.

Salary

Selected Job Trainees will receive ₹29,500 per month.
