RRB NTPC Graduate Recruitment 2026 (CEN No. 06/2026)

Overview

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) under the Ministry of Railways have announced the RRB NTPC Graduate Recruitment 2026. The notification (CEN No. 06/2026) covers 3,548 vacancies in Non‑Technical Popular Category (Graduate) posts.

Important Dates

• Online application: 08 Oct 2026 – 06 Nov 2026, 11:59 PM
• CBT, Document Verification, and other stages: dates to be announced separately.

Eligibility

• Must hold a degree from a recognized university (or equivalent) for all four posts.
• Must have obtained the qualification on or before 06 Nov 2026.
• Candidates awaiting final results of the qualifying exam are not eligible.
• Age limit is calculated as of 01 Jan 2027. Additional concessions apply for eligible serving railway employees, quasi‑administrative employees, widowed/divorced/judicially separated women, and other specified categories.

Application Fee

• Payable online via Internet Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI.
• Refund available only to candidates who actually appear for the 1st Stage CBT.
• Fee concessions apply for EBC, EWS, and OBC categories (EBC is relevant for fee concession, not reservation).

Selection Process

1. 1st Stage CBT – 90 minutes, 1/3 negative marking per wrong answer.
2. 2nd Stage CBT – 90 minutes, 1/3 negative marking per wrong answer.
3. Document Verification – RRB‑wise, approximately 1:1 ratio against notified vacancies, based on merit.
4. Medical Examination

Note: No Typing Skill Test is required for CEN No. 06/2026. However, basic computer and typing proficiency is expected for Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist and Senior Clerk cum Typist posts.

• The total vacancies are provisional and may change.
• The RRB‑wise, railway zone‑wise, and post‑wise distribution of vacancies is detailed in Annexure B of CEN No. 06/2026.
• Candidates appointed to the typing posts will have their proficiency assessed after joining; unsatisfactory performance may affect confirmation or promotion.
