Pay Scale

• Associate Engineer Grade II: ₹72,000 – ₹80,000
• Associate Engineer Grade III: ₹86,400 – ₹96,000
• Associate Engineer Grade IV: ₹100,800 – ₹112,000
• Associate Officer Grade II: ₹72,000 – ₹80,000

Pay includes HRA & PF; higher for X/Y/Z cities.

Selection Process

1. Screening of applications and certificates (online)
2. Personal interview at EIL offices in Gurugram, Mumbai, Chennai or Kolkata
3. On‑day screening of documents
4. Final interview for eligible candidates

Documents Required

• 6 copies of the filled online application form with photograph
• Valid photo ID issued by Government of India
• Date of birth certificate
• Educational qualification mark sheets and passing certificates
• Proof of CGPA to percentage conversion norms
• Experience certificates
• Caste/Category certificate (if applicable)
• No Objection Certificate (if working in Central/State government)

Additional Notes

• Hiring is on a fixed‑term basis: 2 years initially, extendable for 1 year based on performance, up to a maximum of 3 years.
• ASNT/ISNT Level‑II certificate in RT/UT/DPT/MPT is required for Welding/NDT candidates.
