Gram Panchayat Secretary Recruitment – District Panchayat Bastar

Eligibility

• Native resident of Bastar district across the 7 development blocks.
• Minimum age: 18 years (as of 01‑01‑2026) and not more than 40 years. Age relaxations for local residents, women, and reserved category candidates as per state rules; maximum age capped at 45 years for specific eligible government service personnel.
• Must possess an active employment exchange registration certificate within Chhattisgarh.
• Government, semi‑government, or corporation employees must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer.

Selection Process

Component	Weightage
Higher Secondary marks	50%
Higher educational qualifications	10% (5% for graduation, 5% for post‑graduation)
Computer skill test marks	25%
Experience as employment assistant	15% (3 marks per year, max 5 years; minimum 9 months in a year)

• Shortlisted candidates (1:10 ratio based on merit) will be called for a computer skill test (25 marks) and document verification.
• Final selection will be based on the combined weightage.

Application Procedure

1. Download the application form and official notification from the official website: www.bastar.gov.in.

2. Fill out the form legibly with all required personal and educational details.

3. Attach the following documents:

   • Self‑attested copies of all educational qualification certificates and mark sheets.
   • Self‑attested copies of identity and residence proof verified by a gazetted officer or self.
   • Experience certificates issued and countersigned by the competent authority (e.g., CEO or program officer) if claiming employment assistant experience, along with past engagement/termination orders.
   • Active employment exchange registration certificate and category/domicile certificates.

4. Enclose two self‑addressed envelopes affixed with postal stamps worth Rs. 40 each.

5. Write "आवेदन ग्राम पंचायत सचिव हेतु आवेदन 2026" on the main envelope enclosing all documents.

6. Send the completed application packet through registered post or speed post to:

   Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat Bastar, Jagdalpur

   Deadline: 16 November 2026, 5:30 PM. Applications received after this date/time will not be entertained.

Appointment and Probation

• Appointed secretaries will serve on a 3‑year probation period, extendable up to 5 years.
• Performance will be regularly evaluated during the probation period.
