RRB Station Master Recruitment 2026

Vacancy: 1,215 Station Master posts under CEN 08/2026.

Pay: Initial basic pay of ₹35,400 (Level 6 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix).

Application Window:

• Starts: 27 October 2026
• Closes: 25 November 2026, 11:59 PM (online at rrbapply.gov.in)
• Fee payment deadline: 27 November 2026

Eligibility:

• Age: 20 – 33 years (as on 1 January 2027). Relaxations apply for SC, ST, OBC (Non‑Creamy Layer), EWS, and eligible ex‑servicemen.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from a recognized university, obtained by the application closing date.
• Nationality: Indian citizen or other nationality permitted in the notification.
• Medical: A‑2 medical fitness, including unaided vision of 6/12 or better. Candidates who have undergone LASIK or similar refractive‑error surgery are not eligible.

Selection Process:

1. CBT (Computer Based Test) – written exam.
2. CBAT (Computer Based Assessment Test) – interview.
3. Candidates must submit the original medical vision certificate (Annexure‑VI or Annexure‑VIA) for CBAT.

Reservation: SC, ST, OBC (Non‑Creamy Layer), EWS, and eligible ex‑servicemen as per prescribed rules.
