The Odisha Uniformed Services Staff Selection Commission (OUSSSC) has issued Advertisement No. 01‑CRE‑2026/OUSSSC for 7,268 vacancies across the following posts:

• Constable (Civil)

Eligibility

• Educational qualification: Higher Secondary (10+2) or the prescribed equivalent. For Constable (Communication) additional subject‑specific or diploma eligibility may apply.
• Age: Calculated as on 1 January 2026; varies by post. Five‑year relaxation for SC, ST, SEBC, women, ex‑servicemen and certain departmental categories.
• Odia language: Must be able to speak, read and write Odia. At least one of the recognized Odia language qualification conditions must be satisfied.
• Physical fitness: As specified per post.
• Driving licence:
  • Firefighting Driver – valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) licence by the prescribed cut‑off date.
  • Driver PMT – valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) or HMV licence as prescribed.
