Computer Based Test (CBT) – 5 December 2026

Prescribed medical qualification (MD/MS, MDS, MSc, PhD, or equivalent)
Registration with Central or State Medical Council
For Oral Health Science Centre: recognized dental qualification, registration with Central or State Dental Council, and MDS in relevant specialty
Not eligible if:
- Already completed 3 years of Senior Residency in the same discipline
- Completed DM/MCh
Maximum age: 45 years as of 13 November 2026 (subject to relaxation)

Separate medical and non‑medical eligibility routes; depends on department and appointment level.

Candidates selected for Sangrur will be appointed there; they cannot claim a posting at Chandigarh.
Backlog vacancies are included; reservation details available in the department‑wise table.
Applicants must submit valid qualifying degree or pass certificate by 31 December 2026. Those whose results are declared after this date or cannot provide the certificate will not be eligible.
For final qualifying examinations in December 2026, applicants may apply if they submit the pass certificate before the deadline.
