Position: Probationary Engineer (E‑II Grade) – 350 vacancies (200 Electronics, 150 Mechanical)

Recruiting Authority: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Defence.

Eligibility

• Nationality: Only Indian nationals.
• Age: 25 years (General/EWS) as on 1 October 2026. PwBD candidates get additional relaxation.
• Educational Qualification:
  • First class in B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. Engineering (AICTE approved) in Electronics or Mechanical.
  • First class in AMIE/AMIETE/GIETE in the same disciplines.
  • Pass class for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
  • No other equivalent disciplines or dual specialisations are considered.
• Other: Candidates must submit a conversion certificate/formula if marks are in CGPA/SGPA etc. Degree specialization must match the branch applied for.

Selection Process

1. Computer‑Based Test (CBT) – tentative date: 22 December 2026 (venue to be announced).
2. Interview – shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.

Salary & Benefits

• Basic Pay Scale: ₹40,000 – ₹140,000 (subject to revision from 1 January 2027).
• CTC: Approximately ₹13 lacs.
• Allowances: DA, HRA, Conveyance Allowance, etc.

• The CBT date is tentative; BEL reserves the right to change it.
• The number of vacancies may be increased or decreased based on actual requirement.
• Only Indian nationals are eligible.
• Proof of age for PwBD candidates must be a certificate issued by a Board of Secondary Education or a birth certificate.
