Eligibility

• Educational qualification: ITI/NAC or equivalent qualification for the selected trade.
• Experience: Minimum two years of relevant post‑qualification experience in the chosen trade. Apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961, counts towards this experience.
• Age limit: 35 years as of 9 November 2026 (maximum age ceiling 50 years after all relaxations).
• Other requirements: Good communication and behavioural skills, knowledge of working in an automated environment, and proficiency in office automation tools.
• Special provisions:
  • AOCP post allows an alternative 10+2 Science eligibility route with Chemistry and a minimum of 50 % aggregate marks, but the two‑year experience requirement still applies.
  • Existing IREL regular employees may qualify under the special educational qualification route of SSC with four years of experience in the relevant trade.
