• 28 Trainee positions: 28 Trainee Marine Engineers, 28 Trainee Electrical Officers, and 28 NCV Trainees.

Interview Schedule

• Fleet Personnel: 5 November 2026, 10:00 AM onwards for document verification and selection.
• Trainee Marine Engineers, Trainee Electrical Officers, NCV Trainees: 6 November 2026, 10:00 AM onwards.

Eligibility

Position	Eligibility Criteria
Trainee Marine Engineer	• Four‑year Degree in Marine Engineering from an IMU‑affiliated, DG Shipping‑approved or recognized institute. <br>• Not eligible if already holding or about to obtain an MEO Class IV Certificate of Competency.
Trainee Electrical Officer	• Four‑year engineering degree in one of: Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication/Communication Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering. <br>• Completion of a four‑month Electro Technical Officer (ETO) course from a DG Shipping‑approved institution. <br>• Completion of basic STCW courses.
NCV Trainee	• 10th (SSC) pass from a recognized board. <br>• Approved pre‑sea GP Rating course. <br>• DG Shipping‑approved Exit Examination with ≥ 60% aggregate marks. <br>• Age below 25 years on the date of joining on board.
Fleet Personnel	• Prescribed maritime competency certificates or relevant professional experience as per rank.

Stipends and Allowances

• Trainee Marine Engineers & Trainee Electrical Officers: ₹25,000 per month + ₹600 per day victualing allowance during training.
• NCV Trainees: ₹10,000 per month + ₹405 per day victualing allowance during training.

Note: The stipend is for training only and is not the post‑training salary.
