Eligibility

• Age Limits (as on 1 August 2026):
  • General: 21–37 years (UR Male)
  • Category-wise: up to 42 years (with applicable relaxations)
• Educational Qualification: Recognized Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate degree in one of the following notified disciplines:
  • Food Technology
  • Dairy Technology
  • Biotechnology
  • Oil Technology
  • Agricultural Science
  • Veterinary Science
  • Biochemistry
  • Microbiology
  • Food Science
  • (and related specializations as specified in the notification)
• Other Requirements:
  • Bihar domicile
  • Caste, non‑creamy‑layer, EWS or disability certificates for reservation claims
  • Horizontal reservation for eligible women (35%) who are original residents of Bihar

Selection Process

1. Computer Based Test (CBT) – 100 marks, 2 hours, negative marking 0.25 marks per incorrect answer.
2. Document Verification – After the CBT.
