North Western Railway (NWR) Act Apprentice Recruitment 2026

Overview

North Western Railway (NWR) has released a revised notice for the recruitment of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 for the year 2026‑27. The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Jaipur is inviting online applications for 2008 slots across various trades and units.

Application Window

• Start: 23.10.2026 (online only)
• Last date: 22.11.2026 (23:59 hrs)
• Platform: RRC Jaipur website – www.rrcjaipur.in

Eligibility

• Class 10 with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
• Hold an NCVT/SCVT National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the notified trade.
• Age and other conditions are as specified in the official notification.

Slots & Units

• Total slots: 2008 (provisional; may change).
• Slots are distributed across the following units:
  • Ajmer
  • Bikaner
  • Jaipur
  • Jodhpur
  • Other NWR units (as listed in the notification)
• Candidates may select only one unit.

Selection Process

1. Online application – submit details and upload required documents.
2. Verification – documents will be verified by RRC Jaipur.
3. Shortlisting – based on eligibility and available slots.
4. Training – selected candidates will undergo apprenticeship training at the chosen unit.

Important Notes

• The notification includes category-wise break‑up of slots (UR, OBC, SC, ST, EWS) and reserved slots for Persons with Benchmark Disability (VI, HI, LD, MD) and Ex‑Servicemen.
• Reserved slots may be filled by other categories if unfilled.
