Post: Apprentice (one‑year apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, 1961)

Total vacancies: 530 (provisional)

Eligibility

• Graduates (degree completed on or after 1 April 2022)
• Age: 20–28 years as on 1 October 2026 (maximum applies to Unreserved and EWS candidates)
• Nationality: Indian citizen, or subject of Nepal/Bhutan, Tibetan refugee settled before Jan 1962, or person of Indian origin from specified countries with eligibility certificate
• Academic: Graduate degree from a recognised university/institute approved by the Government of India or its regulatory bodies
• Other: Must not have undergone or be undergoing apprenticeship with UCO Bank or any other organisation; no prior apprenticeship termination; no training or job experience of one year or more after qualification
• Language: Proficient in reading, writing, speaking and understanding at least one local language of the chosen State/UT (exemption if 10th/12th mark sheet shows study of the language)
• Application: Only one State/UT; multiple applications rejected (only last valid considered)

Application

• Start date: 14 October 2026
• Last date: 29 October 2026
• Mode: Online – register on the NATS portal, pay exam fee and submit details via BFSI SSC
• Fee: Paid online to BFSI SSC through the secure payment link in the application form

Selection Process

1. Online objective test conducted by BFSI Sector Skill Council of India (BFSI SSC)
2. Local language test during document verification
3. Medical fitness check

Stipend & Training

• Stipend: ₹16,650 per month
• Training location: Bank branches in the State/UT chosen by the candidate (Bank may allot any district within the selected State/UT)
• Apprentices are trainees, not employees, and have no right to employment after training
• No other allowances or benefits; transport, hostel or residential accommodation not provided

Reservation

• Seats are allocated as per the following categories: SC, ST, OBC (NCL), EWS, UR, OC, HI, VI, ID
• No reservation for Ex‑servicemen/Disabled Ex‑servicemen
• "OC", "HI", "VI" and "ID" seats are part of each State’s total, not additional

Important Notes

• The numbers are provisional and may vary with the Bank’s actual requirement
• Apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances or benefits
• Daily training hours are as applicable to the Bank’s clerical staff
