Eligibility

Criterion	Requirement
Citizenship	Indian citizen, resident of West Karbi Anglong district
Age	Minimum 18 years as on 12 October 2026
Education	Matriculation (10th) with overall comprehension and a compassionate mindset
Eligible groups	Teachers (incl. retired), retired government servants, senior citizens, MSW students/teachers, Anganwadi workers, doctors/physicians, students and law students (till enrolment as lawyers), members of non‑political service‑oriented NGOs and clubs, women neighbourhood groups, Maithri Singhams, other self‑help groups, educated prisoners with good behaviour, or any other person deemed fit by DLSA

Documents to be submitted

1. Filled‑up application form
2. Self‑attested copies of:
   • Educational qualification testimonial
   • Age proof certificate
   • Caste certificate (if applicable)
3. Two recent passport‑size photographs (one pasted on the application form, one stapled on top)

1. Scrutiny of applications
2. Interview of shortlisted candidates
3. Shortlisted list, interview dates, and other details will be posted on the official website of the West Karbi Anglong District Judiciary: westkarbianglong.dcourts.gov.in
4. No individual call letters will be issued

Remuneration

The role is voluntary; no salary, remuneration, or wage is provided except an honorarium fixed by the District Legal Services Authority from time to time.
